At our Tea-Room, the “Hebden Tea Experience”, one of our favorite traditions is watching visitors craft their own fresh masala chai right at the table.
It’s a sensory journey of learning, brewing, and tasting.

Now, you can bring that exact same magic into your own kitchen!

Our signature house mix is a perfectly balanced, aromatic blend of premium Cardamom, Cinnamon, Fennel, Ginger, Cloves, and rich Black Tea.
To make your home experience effortless, we’ve already carefully broken and ground the ingredients for you.
No tedious prep required, all you need to do is simmer, sieve, and enjoy the ultimate comfort in a cup.

Brewing Instructions:

Option 1

Using a Saucepan

•  For every cup of chai, add 1/2 cup of water and 1-2 teaspoons of Hebden’s Masala Chai Mix to a saucepan.
• Bring to a gentle simmer and let the spices infuse for 2 minutes.
• Pour in 1/2 cup of milk (or your favourite plant-based alternative). Keep stirring gently to prevent the milk from sticking to the bottom of the pan as it heats through.
• Sweeten to your liking with honey, sugar, or syrup.
• Strain into your favourite mug and enjoy!

Option 2

Using an infuser for 1 Cup

If you are short on time but still want that authentic café flavour, you can brew a delicious single cup right in your mug using a tea infuser.

• Scoop 1-2 teaspoons of our Masala Chai Mix into your favorite cup infuser or basket.
• Pour boiling water over the mix until your mug is halfway full.
• Let it steep for 3 to 4 minutes to allow the ground spices and black tea to fully release their rich aromas.
• Remove the infuser, fill the rest of your mug with hot milk, and sweeten with syrup or honey to your taste.
