Rooibos is made from the leaves of Fabaceae family of plants growing in South Africa’s fynbos and is a great alternative to tea as it is naturally caffeine free. It has a warm, caramel earthiness to it, that is very refreshing, with a lightness that boosts other flavours. Rooibos compliments the cinnamon, ginger, fennel, aniseed, and cardamom in this blend extremely well, offering a delicious Chai experience that is in no way overpowering. Milk and sugar can be added if preferred, or you could even use honey instead for a more African twist.
