Native to the Kyoto region of Japan, these leaves are picked following a short harvest and 22-day cover.
Gokou matcha represents the pinnacle of matcha production resulting in the finest flavours from Japan.
Origin: Gukou/ Japan
Appearance: Deep forest evergreen.
Scent: Fragrant, sweet and full bodied.
Flavour characteristics: Savoury butter glazed vegetables, brown rice, sweet top notes and deeply satisfying smooth finish.
How to make the perfect matcha:
1 Chasaku (bamboo spoon) / 1 Teaspoon
Mix in 90 ml of 80˚C water.
Whisk using a chasen (bamboo whisk) until the matcha becomes frothy.
